introduction
Women Who Thrive and its subsidiaries (collectively, ‘WWT’, ‘we’ or ‘us’) provide a membership and subscription service for residents and visitors offering a range of International and local webinars, forums, discounts and other activities that may be changed, included and removed at any time. WWT is easily accessible and compatible with both IOS and Android phones. The website, mobile application, and associate services are collectively referred to as “the services”.
definitions
The following terms are used throughout these terms and conditions and have the following meanings
Account: It means the account that the Users are required to register through the App and/or the Platform to use the Services including the required documents needed to complete the Account registration.
Agreement and Terms & Conditions: All terms and conditions and notices contained or referenced in this document (as mentioned) and all other rules and regulations available on all platforms (including but not limited to the Privacy Policy, guidelines, and procedures that may be published from time to time on the Platform).
App / Application: Mobile application that displays all of WWT services and charges.
Member: The service provided by WWT on a subscription basis.
PDP: Personal Data Protection, in accordance with the new UAE Federal Code of 2022. The use of Client Data adhering to, and within the guidelines of the Protection of Personal Data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data Protection.
Platform: means any online tool(s) provided, processed, and/or maintained by WWT (including, but not limited to, through WWT’s App, website, all subpages, and subdomains, all Content, Services, and products available at or through the Platform located at www.womenwho-thrive.com or any other related domain offering access to, or facilitating the provision of, the Services.
Service: Means the online and/or offline services, provided by WWT. Exception to Service is any discount, offer or activity both online and offline that is provided by a third-party vendor within the WWT platforms.
Social Media: Meaning any platforms inclusive of but not exclusive to, such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp in which are used to promote, market, interact with individuals, gain reviews and comments. WWT may use this method of communication with vendors, potential vendors, members and the general public.
Vendor: The person(s) or company offering a service to WWT across any platform.
UAE: United Arab Emirates.

Services:
WWT provides a platform that enables users of a mobile application or website (“The Application”) that offers daily, weekly, monthly and limited offers, discounts to individuals who subscribe to the membership on a monthly contractual basis. The services are inclusive of open-chat forums as well as webinars both locally and international.
Eligibility:
The minimum age to become a member of WWT is 21 years of age. Global membership is applicable however, the minimum age is per the United Arab Emirates and must be adhered to.
Membership Process:
On signing up to WWT, you as a member will be charged a fee of AED 150 or the equivalent to your country’s currency. The payment will be recurring on a monthly basis. International payment amounts may vary based on the exchange rates.
Upon the completion of the signing up you will have access to the WWT members area giving you full access to a range of forums, events, offers and webinars.
Members signing up agree to applying by all applicable laws within the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates and take full responsibility.
Conditions of use
WWT membership is exclusively for women only and is created based on the ethos of providing a safe, empowering and open space for women to communicate and interact. WWT understands there may be differences in opinions based on a number of factors however, WWT does not tolerate any form of online abuse from either members or vendors. Should any complaints be made with regards to a members behaviour WWT will take the necessary steps to ensure the matter is resolved in the fairest and most amicable way. Should the matter be of a serious nature then WWT have the right to immediately terminate the membership of the individual.
WWT will be offering a number of discounts and offers regularly and will partner up with a number of brands; these on occasion may also include restaurants and bars to who hold alcohol licences, hair salons that use a range of products and so forth. WWT does not hold any responsibility for the products or brands used in any offer and does not hold any liabilities or responsibility for the actions or behaviours of the individual using the services of the third-party vendor.
Any member wishing to avail an offer through WWT must present their valid ID at the time of usage. The time limit on the offers are determined by the vendor and the members can interact directly to the vendor to ensure validity. The offers are subject to change at the discretion of the vendor at any time and WWT will do their best to ensure members are notified on the platform.
Cancellation of membership
Should you wish to cancel your membership you must email WWT on info@women-whothrive.com within 14 days prior to your renewal date. It is the members responsibility to keep track of their own renewal date. The cancellation request will be valid upon a reply email confirmation of cancellation. All cancelations will take effect at the next renewal payment date and members will have access to full services up until that point.
Text Messaging/Push Notifications/Social Media
By creating an account, members agree that the Services may send them text messages, social media messaging communication or push notifications as part of the normal business operation of their use of the Services. Members may opt-out of receiving marketing messages from the WWT platform at any time via their account.
Personal Data
WWT adheres and expects members to adhere to the Personal Data Protection Law (PDP) of the United Arab Emirates. Inclusive of the PDP Law is the Federal Law No. 5 of 2012 on Combating Cybercrimes and its amendment by the Federal Law No. 12 of 2016. This makes it illegal to disclose any information obtained by electronic means, if such information was obtained in an unauthorised manner.
Please note these are effective and implemented as of 2nd January 2022 and are subject to change. WWT holds no right to update the members on the Personal Data Protection Laws.

Network Access and Devices withholding the WWT app.
Members are responsible for obtaining the data network access necessary to use the Services. Their mobile network’s data and messaging rates and fees may apply if the members access or use the Services from a wireless-enabled device and will be responsible for such rates and fees. Members are responsible for acquiring and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Services and Applications and any updates thereto. Should members find any software problems they may report this via info@women-whothrive.com the Services may be subject to malfunctions and delays inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications. Updates from WWT will be notified in the relevant mobile devices’ app store.
Restrictions
Members may not:
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any portion of the Services relating to WWT and any subsidiary companies associated with WWT.
- Members must not reproduce, modify, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute, licence, rent, sell, resell, transfer, publicly display, transmit, stream, broadcast, or otherwise exploit the Services from WWT or the third-party vendors presented on the app and platforms.
- Promote or participate in any unlawful activity.
Third-Party Services and Content
WWT takes no responsibility for any third-party content or communications.
WWT takes no responsibility for third-party platform use such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. All comments and reviews are made by non-related third-party individuals to WWT.
refunds
Failure to use the membership services does not automatically grant a refund.
All memberships fees are due in advance of the period to come and are non-refundable.
Any refund granted is at the sole discretion of the management.
All refunds will be returned to the account used to make payment.
Governing Law:
WWT are governed by the laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates as applied by the Emirate of Dubai.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF OUR APP AND PORTAL, ITS CONTENT, OR SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND YOU ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK OF LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF INFORMATION OR CONTENT OBTAINED FROM A VENDOR OR THE SERVICES.
